Term 4 Aquatics Program Update

As mentioned previously we have been lucky to obtain a Sporting Schools Grant for this term. We were planning to use this grant for our annual aquatics program that will run Monday 4th December until Friday 8th December. Instructors from High Country Swimming have been booked to run the program.

Walcha Swimming Pool will open 6am Friday 17th November 2023.

Walcha Flippers St Patrick's Scholarship

The Walcha Flippers are offering a student enrolled at St Patrick's Primary a scholarship that entitles them to have a free membership for the upcoming swimming season. If your child is interested in obtaining this grant, they need to write an application/ letter to Mr Hyatt on why they should get free membership to Flippers. The application needs to be submitted to Mr Hyatt by Thursday 16th November.

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook

St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
