Being Well at Magill

What's Happening Around the JP Asphalt?
Have you noticed something new on the Junior Primary asphalt? If you have, great spotting!
Thanks to lots of fundraising and helpful input from both staff and student action teams and classroom meetings, we now have some exciting new line markings for everyone to enjoy. These aren’t just fun; they also support learning and wellbeing in lots of ways.
Take a closer look and you’ll find:
Two handball courts for active play in P.E.
A sensory pathway that encourages movement and wellbeing, including wall push-ups, bear crawls, and hopping, skipping, and jumping through the solar system, followed by a countdown to a colourful rocket directing children back to class.
A colourful Chinese dragon featuring numbers written in Chinese characters
A classic snakes and ladders game
Number markings from 1 to 100 for numeracy fun
A “do re mi fa so la ti” circle for musical exploration
This vibrant and interactive space supports multiple areas of the curriculum while helping students stay active, engaged, and happy.
If you haven’t seen it yet, head down and take a look, we think you’ll love it!
Magill School Garden News!
Our passionate students have been working hard to make our school grounds even more beautiful! Kantu Yarta is growing fast and looking green and lush. Keep an eye out for new signs around the school reminding everyone to be careful not to step on the plants and to put rubbish in the bin.
We are so lucky to have such lovely grounds and amazing students who help keep them looking great every day. Keep up the wonderful work……and remember to watch your step!
