This Week's Updates

Dear Families,
Week Three and the month of May are here already. This year is certainly flying by and yesterday we were reminded that Winter is on its way.
We were delighted to have so many families gathered at St John's Church on Saturday for the celebration of First Eucharist for our Year Four students, celebrated by Fr. Dispin. It was a wonderful family celebration conducted in a reverent and inclusive manner, as are all of our celebrations led by Fr Dispin.
Thank you to the staff who attended to support our students. Thanks also to the parents who assisted in formal roles and all parents and extended family and friends who made the celebration special for the students. This was an important step in their faith journey.
Prep 2027 Enrolments
Invitations to attend out Meet and Greet Sessions have been sent out to all of our prospective NEW families. Current families will be invited to attend a meet and greet session in a few weeks time.
The sessions with new families commence on Thursday. We currently have over 50 applications and I am assuming that all current families have completed an application if you have a child due to start Prep next year. If you have not yet completed an application, please do so by Friday 8th May so that we can determine how many new families we can offer places to.
Marathon Club
Marathon Club is back in full swing. If you would like your child to get involved please pop into the office to fill out a marathon club form and pay $15 for the Semester, noting that this is only available for years 3 -6.
School Uniform
Given the weather lately, I think it's best to allow this week as another optional week for Summer/Winter uniforms and as of next Monday 11 May we officially change over to wearing Winter Uniform.
Child Safe Standards
With the importance and commitment that we place on student safety as a school system, please take the time to read and familiarise yourself with the information in the
Child Safe Standard Four Parent/Carer Newsletter.

Drop by and check out out the 4 new chooks we added to the collection over the weekend!
MACS optional survey: Understanding family experience and school choice survey for parents
Hearing from families is essential to understanding their experience of Catholic education, and planning our service provision now and into the future. MACS are asking for families to participate in the MACS Family Survey via this link before it closes on Wednesday 6 May 2026. Please note the short timeframe - we missed including this last week.
