Cyber Safety

On Thursday the 22nd of February, Year 5 students participated in the ‘Cyber Safety Project’. This focused on how to be responsible online, keeping personal information private and reporting issues to a trusted adult. This is something that all students will be practicing during our Technology sessions.

Lunar New Year

Teacher Caen held a Lunar New Year celebration with students. Lunar New Year is an important celebration for many students and teachers at North Melbourne Primary School. 

2024 is the Year of the Dragon. Caen handed out hongbao (red envelopes) which symbolise luck, life and happiness. Some of the fun activities that students took part in were singing, dancing and colouring in as well as learning about different cultures that celebrate Lunar New Year.
