Cyber Safety Project
Year 3-6 students participated in a session with the Cyber Safety Project. The Cyber Safety Project’s mission is to provide students with future skills and habits when using digital technologies.
Making good digital choices
Years 3 & 4
Students explored the places they may go online to connect, learn and play, identifying different personal, private and public spaces. Students evaluated who might be able to see them, whilst carefully considering the type of information they share. The theme of making good digital choices led students to think about their personal and public information and how to protect this by crafting long and strong passwords for their personal online accounts.
Years 5 & 6
Students established skills to self manage their own digital lives. Students uncovered how easy it can be to overshare online and explored ways to protect their privacy and personal data. Students were made aware of social protocols online and considered their responsibilities as online citizens by discussing how they can establish positive and respectful relationships online.
