Elmore Field Days Visit

ELMORE FIELD DAYS VISIT

Although our trip to this years Elmore Field Days was organised at the last minute, we all enjoyed the experience. Thanks to Mr Eric Bisch from Rochester Rotary a small group of Year 9 & 10 students, a long with Rueben Hooper and Ms Nichol had the opportunity to visit this years 62nd annual agricultural show.

There was an extensive range of farm and agricultural exhibits including the latest machinery and technology, local produce and recreation exhibits. The highlight for some of us were the camels, the very intelligent kelpie cattle dogs and the Berkley fishing show.

Agricultural exhibitors were also very generous to our school in providing contacts for possible future work experience placements.

Our visit would not have been possible if it wasn't for the support from the Elmore Fields Days Committee and Rotary. We truly do live in a caring community.
