Year 2

In Science and Technology this term, we have been learning about the human body and how the brain controls many of our functions. Louis kindly brought in a 3D model of the brain so all of Year 2 could see the different lobes and parts that we had been discussing in class. The children were so excited to see what their brains actually look like and loved exploring the different sections of the model.

As part of our Religious Education learning, we also created our own Lenten promises. The students thoughtfully reflected on ways they could show kindness, patience and generosity during the Lenten season.

We have also been creating some amazing artworks linked to our HSIE and English units of work. The students have shown wonderful creativity and enthusiasm while connecting their learning across different subjects.

In Week 6, 2Y proudly led the school assembly and enjoyed showcasing their learning. The students did a fantastic job sharing their work and speaking confidently in front of the school community.
