MACSSIS Survey

Very soon, all families will receive a link to participate in the MACS parent School Improvement Survey. The information gained from this survey significantly impacts the future direction of our school and allows parents the opportunity to voice their opinions about a range of domains including family engagement, school climate and Catholic identity.

One of the main goals of the family survey is to identify the strengths and areas for improvement in our school. MACSSIS data benefits everyone within our school and provides valuable community insights on areas that each school can focus on.

Students in grade 4, 5 and 6 will also participate in the survey during school hours, supervised and supported by leaders.

We would be grateful if

Bullying No Way Week 🦸🏼‍♂️ 🦸🏽‍♀️

Students across the school became Superheroes this week as we stood up to bullying behaviours and violence. It has been a great week of explicit teaching about kindness, help-seeking, protective behaviours, resilience and friendship.

Signal, Pause Insist Routine

Over the past few weeks, teachers have been explicitly teaching the signal, pause, insist routine to reinforce the need to be ready to listen to the speaker. This routine supports our development of the PBL values; Safe, Responsible and Respectful.

Below is the slide show that teachers and students have been using to learn this routine. You will notice this being used for whole school gathers as well as in the classrooms.
