Secondary Science Engineering Challenge 

On Thursday of Week 6, 19 of our Year 9 and 10 students travelled to Narrabri to compete in the 2024 Science and Engineering Challenge. Students completed and solved real-world design, engineering, coding and scheduling tasks, a highlight being the aeroplane engineering task, where students had to design a prototype which tested its distance, accuracy and precision. Students enjoyed some healthy competition against four other secondary schools in the region, coming in third place overall. It was a great day and a fantastic opportunity for students to experience some real-world tasks and challenges faced by industry experts!
