Congratulations to Jack H. Clark of 9A. Hot on the heels of his recent ACC Exhibition success at Federation Square, Jack has been making waves with his artwork closer to home.

Jack won the Perception of Young People Award at Moorabool Shire’s Youth Art Awards last week, taking home a $150 prize. Keep your eye on Jack H. Clark, one of our rising stars in the Arts scene here at St Patrick’s College. Great work Jack!

Top Designs 2024

On Monday 24 June, Year 11 and 12 Visual Communication Design students from St Patrick's College visited the Top Designs exhibition in Melbourne. The event, part of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority’s VCE Season of Excellence, celebrates the outstanding creative and innovative achievements of Victorian secondary school students.

Top Designs 2024 highlights the exceptional work produced by students who completed their VCE in 2023, showcasing final presentations and folios of work from studies including Visual Communication Design, Media, Product Design and Technology, Systems Engineering, VET Creative Digital Media and Theatre Studies.

The exhibition not only celebrates the hard work and talent of these young creators but also inspires future students to pursue excellence in their creative endeavours. Our students examined the folio work carefully and made observational notes about professional presentation. The students gained valuable insight into the creative process and the high standards required for VCE excellence.

Top Designs 2024 runs until July 14 at the Melbourne Museum, allowing students a second chance to revisit the exhibition, and even take along their families to show them what the Visual Communication Design folios are all about!
