Principal Update 

Dear families,

As we come to the end of Term 1, I want to extend my sincere thanks to our students, staff, and families for their support, resilience, and contribution to another positive and productive term at St Kilian’s. Our classrooms have been filled with energy and learning, and it has been wonderful to see students growing in confidence and connection each week. I am deeply grateful to our dedicated staff for the professionalism and care they show every day, and to our families for your ongoing partnership in your children’s education. I wish everyone a restful and safe holiday break, and I look forward to welcoming our students back refreshed and ready for another great term of learning.

Staffing Update

After fifteen years of dedicated service to St Kilian’s, we share the news that Carmel House will be finishing at the end of this term to pursue an exciting new career opportunity. We are deeply grateful for her commitment, care, and the positive impact she has had on our students, staff, and wider school community. We thank Carmel sincerely for everything she has contributed and wish her every success and happiness in the next chapter of her journey.

Pupil Free Day - Term 2

A reminder that Monday 20th April is a CESL Professional Learning Day (pupil free).

Students return on Tuesday 21st April.

2027 Enrolment Information

We are already approaching the time of year when we begin our enrolment process for the following school year.

Our 2027 School Information Night will be held on Wednesday 29 April at 7:00pm. School Open Week runs from Monday 24 April to Friday 1 May, during which school tours will be conducted.

If you know anyone interested in enrolling at St Kilian’s, please share this information or encourage them to contact our office.

White House Demolition Project

Works on this site are progressing well and have provided great interest for both students and staff. Over the holiday break, we hope to have the entire site demolished and removed.

McAuley Building Project

The building permit is expected this week with refurbishments expected to begin during the school holidays.

Parents & Friends Association

A reminder that our school trivia night - 'A Splash of Colour' will be held on Friday 1st May at 7pm in the school hall. Tickets can be purchased online through QKR before the end of term. $10 per person or a full table of eight for $80.

All money raised will be put towards playground improvements.

Student Birthdays 

Students celebrating a birthday may wear casual clothes to school in recognition of their special day. If a birthday falls on a weekend or during holidays, students are welcome to choose a suitable school day afterward to wear casual clothing.
