Farewell to Pádraig McCahey

After seven and a half years of dedicated service, we bid a fond and heartfelt farewell to Pádraig McCahey, Compliance and Administration Officer in the Mission and Ministry Team at Kildare Ministries.

Since joining Kildare Ministries in 2017, Pádraig brought warmth, professionalism, and a deep commitment to service in all that he did. He worked closely with the Kildare Education Ministries (KEM) Executive Officer and Board, Principals, Business Managers and Risk Coordinators, always demonstrating a strong alignment with our shared values and a commitment to building an inclusive, compassionate, and faith-filled community.

Pádraig’s contribution was wide-ranging and deeply appreciated. Whether preparing for Board meetings, network gatherings, supporting compliance and governance processes, or carrying out his unofficial role as 'ICT Manager' of the Brigidine Ministry Centre (BMC), he brought insight, precision, and care. His colleagues in the BMC and all in KEM especially valued his thoughtful approach, collegial spirit, and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed.

Across every aspect of his role, Pádraig demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of mission. His attention to detail, deep understanding of governance, and capacity to navigate complex systems made him a trusted and highly respected colleague. His ability to meet challenges with calm, grace, and good humour made him a joy to work alongside.

Pádraig leaves a legacy marked by generosity, quiet leadership, and a wholehearted commitment to the values of Kildare Ministries. His presence enriched our community both professionally and personally, and we are deeply grateful for the many ways he shaped and supported our shared work.

As he steps into a new chapter, combining the skills honed at Kildare Ministries with insights from his MBA studies, we congratulate Pádraig on his new role in business transformation and innovation. While he will be greatly missed, he remains a cherished part of the Kildare Ministries story.

We wish him every success and blessing for the journey ahead.

Slán leat, Pádraig and thank you.
