MS READATHON 2026

Join the MS Readathon 2026!
This August, we invite all students to take part in the MS Readathon, running from 1–31 August 2026. It's a fun way to build a love of reading while making a real difference for Australians living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neurological conditions.
Students set a personal reading goal, read as many books as they can throughout August, and can ask family and friends to sponsor their reading. Every page turned helps raise vital funds to support life-changing services and research, while also developing lifelong literacy skills and a passion for books.
Whether you love chapter books, graphic novels, picture books or audiobooks, every book counts! Let's come together as a school community to celebrate reading, challenge ourselves, and help make a difference—one book at a time.
We have a St Agnes’ Team page. Talk to your family and sign up as soon as you can so you can start reading!
Miss Miller will be supporting this initiative by inviting students to the library each morning and during library club, to borrow books as part of the MS reading challenge. Please remember that we can only borrow books from the library if we have a library bag.
Build better reading habits. Ignite BIG imaginations.
When kids love reading, the everyday is anything but. Bedrooms become rocketships. Backyards turn into jungles. 20 minutes with a book opens whole new worlds.
Join MS Readathon, set a reading goal for August and make story time the best part of the day. All while building lifelong literacy skills.
And with every page, and every story, you’ll raise funds for families impacted by MS and neurological conditions.
