Literacy Workshop P-2

On Friday 15 May, we will be offering a Literacy Workshop at 9am in the Staffroom. 

This will be a session for parents and carers in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 who are interested in being helpers in the classroom for Literacy or who would like to develop an understanding of how children learn to read and ways to support children at home. 

The session will run for about 45 minutes and all are welcome.  We realise that events during work hours can be challenging for working parents so we will also record the session and send it out afterwards. In order to help in the classroom, it will be an expectation that you have either attended or watched the Literacy Workshop and also that you have a current Working with Children Check.

Your child's teacher in Prep-Year 2 will send out a roster for helpers in the next week with information about how and when to volunteer. We greatly appreciate any support you can offer and look forward to working with you.
