A Reflection on Mary's Example

As we approach August 15th, we have a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus. This day is a time to remember her journey and to consider the powerful lessons her life holds for each of us. We celebrate that at the end of her life, she was taken to be with God.

Mary's story is one of profound humility and complete trust. From the very beginning, she said "yes" to God's plan, even though it was a path filled with uncertainty and challenges. She lived a life of quiet service, always putting her faith and her family first. Because of her extraordinary faith and love, she was granted a special place in heaven.

For us, Mary's life is a source of great hope and inspiration. She reminds us that our purpose is not just to get through each day, but to live with faith, kindness, and charity. Mary shows us that by trusting in God and by embracing a life of humble service, we can achieve true joy and find our ultimate home with Him.

As students, teachers, and parents in our school community, we can look to Mary as a role model. Her courage and dedication remind us that our small acts of goodness, our hard work, and our care for one another are important. Her life is a beautiful example of how living with a true and generous heart leads to a glorious and eternal reward.

2025 Confirmation: Date has been set for our Catholic students in Years 5 and 6 for Sunday 21st September 2025.
