Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends! Welcome to Week 6 of Term 1!
Guess what? We’re already at the end of this term. This week’s theme is “On the Farm”. We have been doing a lot of arts and crafts activities related to our theme for this week. On Monday we got the children engaged with building-your-own barnyard pig which was amazing and cute. On Tuesday we did the build-your-own farm cow craft activity. On Wednesday and Thursday morning and afternoon, we did the farmer and build-your-own farm horse craft activity. It was amazing to see how children can be so creative and imaginative when engaging in arts and crafts activities.
This week’s weather was amazing, so we got to play outside every afternoon. Our children played soccer, basketball, and gaga ball. One thing for sure is that we had so much fun this week.
Once again, this week, Ashleigh and Angie are doing the medical audit. If your child / children have medical conditions, please keep an eye on the white envelopes that will be sent home and please sign them and kindly return them to TheirCare. Also, if you can please send us the updated action plan and medicines for your child - that would be great. Thank you for your support!
Not long now until the Autumn school holiday program. We have a very exciting two weeks of holiday fun planned with three massive excursions. We are going to the movies, Inflatable World and even checking out Holey Moley. Brochures are available in the TheirCare room or can be accessed online.
This week’s Pupil of the Week is George Garcia (6MP) for setting a good example and assisting the younger children during the fire evacuation drill. Well done, George! You should be very proud!! 😊😊
Last week, we bid goodbye to Jicinta as it was her last week at FWPS. This week we are welcoming Fernando at FWPS. He will be one of the permanent staff here at FWPS TheirCare. He has done a couple of shifts with us already and the children love playing basketball and dodgeball with him.
