Dear Families,

As we reach the final week of Term 3, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our entire school community for what has been a truly wonderful, energetic, and successful term. The dedication of our students, staff, and families continues to make Our Lady Star of the Sea such a vibrant place to learn and grow.

A very special thank you goes out in advance to our fantastic Parents & Friends group and to Michelle in admin for organising our Footy Day lunch this Friday. We are all looking forward to a fun day of footy fever! A quick reminder regarding attire: please don't worry if your child doesn't own official AFL team gear. They are very welcome to simply wear their team's colours, or if AFL isn't their thing, they can wear gear from another sport entirely, whether that's soccer, basketball, netball, or another favorite.

Thank you also to all the families who took the time to attend Program Support Group (PSG) meetings this week. These meetings are such a valuable opportunity to reflect on student growth, celebrate their individual successes, and collaborate on setting new goals for the coming weeks.

If you need care options over the upcoming break, Elysium, our Before and After School Care provider, will be running a holiday program right here at the school. Please reach out to them directly if you have days you still need to book.

I wish all of our families a safe, restful, and wonderful school holiday break. I look forward to welcoming everyone back for a strong final term of 2026, where a key focus will be supporting and celebrating our Grade 6 students as they prepare for their exciting transition to secondary school.
