RELIGION IN PREP W

This week Prep W have been learning all about the Creation story. Our world was created in 7 days and on each day God added a different part. We thought that God would’ve been tired on Day 7 and that it was a good idea for Him to rest. We then drew some pictures for each day of the Creation story to display in our classroom.

THE CREATION STORY by Prep W

We discussed that our world was created by God and is a gift to us all. We will then explore different ways that we can be responsible and care for our environment eg. pick up rubbish,

water plants in the garden and look after our pets.

During our Prayer time each morning we will also reflect on some special things that God has created. We will share prayers to thank God for something special that we love in our world.

The Preps will also write their own ‘Prayer of Thanks’ to God and these will be put together to create our own prayer book.
