Welcome to Library for 2026!

Scholastic LOOP Bookclub 2026

Syndal South Primary School will offer Scholastic's LOOP Bookclub to all families again in 2026. 

All book orders are made and paid for online with FREE deliveries to the school (There is a charge for home delivery.)

There are 7 issues in the year - 2 per term (except in Term 4, there is only 1 offered).

The school earns REWARDS from every dollar spent to put towards FREE books for the school library, so please consider supporting LOOP in 2026.

Please read through the instructions attached if you wish to order from LOOP and watch for LOOP notification dates on Compass and in the school newsletter. Thank you!

Diary Dates

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF)

If you currently have a Concession Card you be be eligible for CSEF funding. The government pays $400 to the school for you to use on camps and excursions.  Please find attached the application form and an information sheet.  Return the form to the office with a copy of your current concession card. If you have received the funding in 2025 you do not have to refill in the form.  We will copy last years form for you.

Free Public Transport

Public transport is free for children under 18, saving families up to $755, per child, per year.  This makes it easier for young people to stay connected, whether travelling to school, sport, work or social activities, while helping families save on everyday costs.

The Youth myki is available for purchase for $5 online via Youth myki | Free travel for children under 18 - Transport Victoria or from a staffed station or the PTV Hub – this is for the cost of the card, you won’t need to pay for anything after this.
