Reflection
As we gather to embark on a new school year, we are reminded of the abundant blessings and opportunities that lie ahead. This is a time of new beginnings, fresh challenges, and renewed commitments to growing in faith, knowledge, and love. Let us take a moment to centre ourselves in God’s presence and reflect on the journey we are about to begin together.
In Isaiah 41:10, we hear the comforting words: "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." As we step into this new academic year, let us carry this promise with us, trusting that God walks with us in every moment—in our classrooms, in our relationships, and in our personal growth.
At the heart of St Patrick's Primary is the spirit of community. We are not just individuals pursuing our goals; we are a family, united by Christ’s love. Let us commit ourselves to building an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and encouraged to shine. As St. Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 16:14: "Do everything in love." Let this be our guiding principle as we learn, teach, and grow together.

as we begin this school year,
we place our trust in You.
Bless our students with curiosity and a desire to learn.
Bless our teachers with wisdom, patience,
and a passion for their vocation.
Bless our families with strength and unity.
May our school community
be a reflection of Your love,
and may all we do bring glory to Your name.
Guide us, protect us, and inspire us
to be the light in the world.

Beginning of School Year Mass - February at 11.30am
Our first K-6 School Mass for 2025, the Beginning of School Year Mass, is scheduled for Monday 17th February of February at St Patrick's Church, starting at 11:30 am. This special occasion will include Monsignor Ted blessing the badges of our newly appointed School Captains, House Captains, and School Leaders, officially commissioning them into their roles. We warmly invite everyone to join us in celebrating this significant event.
Sacrament Dates for 2025
2025 First Reconciliation: Date has been set for our Catholic students in Years 2 and 3 for Friday 24th October 2025.
2025 First Eucharist: Date has been set for our Catholic students in Year 3 for Sunday 22nd June 2025.
2025 Confirmation: Date has been set for our Catholic students in Years 5 and 6 for Sunday 21st September 2025.
