2023 Travel arrangement forms have been added to our Compass Events Portal in place of our paper copies. Please fill the form in as soon as possible.

We are going swimming tomorrow so please fill in the swimming forms on Compass today.

NEW ACTIVITIES LEVY

As advised in the term 4, week 8 newsletter, this term you will be charged for the new activities levy of $70/student which can be paid through CompassPay.  This will be due by the end of term one.  This levy alleviates the need to pay small amounts throughout the year.  It will cover buses for swimming, athletics and cross country, pool entry, visiting performers/shows and a portion of the transport for a specialist music teacher from the Conservatorium. This does not include major excursions, Mothers/Fathers Day gifts, Year 6 Big Day Out, or Diocesan sport as these are user pay activities. Please note we are not asking for more money from our families; this one off collection replaces many small transactions you currently pay.  All students are expected to pay this levy. 

NEW FINANCE SYSTEM AND SCHOOL FEES

We have transitioned to a new financial accounting system and this has added functionality in the way you can make payments to the school including BPay and CompassPay (via the compass app).  Our current school's bank account will no longer be available to direct credit, therefore we ask that you make payments to the school via one of these new functionalities.

Term one fees will be issued by the Catholic Schools Office (CSO), Armidale with your BPay details.  Regular payments can be set up directly from your bank account via Bpay.

ATTENDANCE 

It is a legal requirement that you log in to Compass to explain all absences within 7 days of your child being away from school, however it is so much easier if you attend to this on the day as soon as you receive the reminder.  

You will not be able to complete this task after the 7 days has passed which means they will be recorded as Absent Unexplained.  

If you are having trouble accessing all of the Compass features,  there should be a drop down menu on your home page which looks like 3 horizontal lines.  Open this menu and choose 'open in browser'. This will help you access the school portal features.
