Whats happening in the art room this week?
Years 5/6 are learning about the artist Ken Done and how to paint in an impressionistic style. Kyri’s fish painting is full of energy and fun.
Year 1/2 students observed gumtrees in our school yard and painted them using a range of brushstrokes and gorgeous layers of colour.
Year 3/4 students have been exploring traditional Aboriginal Art colours and styles. This week they looked at modern Aboriginal styled art and the Keringe Artists. Joanna”s work shows the vibrant colours and traditional symbols used in an Abstract Art style by Keringe artists.
