Dear Families
As we lead into Mother's Day, I wish to say a big Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, special friends and other significant ladies in our community who care for our children! I hope all the mums and other special people in our community have a wonderful day on Sunday and are able to relax, get spoilt and enjoy the day with their loved ones.
PFA and volunteers
Thank you to our amazing PFA and extended volunteers, who sourced, purchased, and organised the Mother's and Special Friends stall yesterday. Our students love being able to purchase a gift to surprise their cherished person/people.
The PFA have also worked behind the scenes with staff to put on a delightful Mother's and Special Friends breakfast tomorrow morning from 8am to 9am. We look forward to welcoming you in the morning followed by Mother's Day Mass at 9.30am!
Skoolbag name change
Please note that Skoolbag has been rebranded and it is now called Audiri.
Special Announcement
I am delighted to share with you all that our former 3/4 teacher Mikaela Appleford and her partner Fraser have had their baby boy, Hudson Oliver. We wish them every happiness!
Celebrating learning @ Fatima!
Each day, we look for ways to acknowledge and celebrate student learning and growth in the all curriculum areas. Seeing our students shine and be proud of their effort and achievement is pure joy. We can't acknowledge all students at each assembly - like Maddison, Pene and Sveya with their artworks. This means we look for other opportunities each day to tell students how pleased we are with their learning, such as reading the exceptional writing from Edie, Milly, Rosie and Archie in Prep.
In closing, tomorrow is jam packed with many events: Our School Feast Day (13th May), Mother's and Special Friends breakfast, 9.30am Mass (for Mother's Day), Kaboom incursion for P-6 to celebrate our Feast Day and at 5pm Sacrament of Confirmation for our Year 6s.
Our prayers and thoughts are with all our students on their Confirmation Day. May God bless you with strength and luck and you always stay near to him.
Thanks again for a really busy and really terrific fortnight, and there's still more to come!
Go gently
