We couldn't be prouder of our athletes who participated in the The State Championships on the 22nd April in Melbourne.
Results:
Dominic Hoggard
Multiclass 50m Freestyle – 1st
Multiclass 50m Backstroke – 2nd
Todd Dymke
100m Butterfly – 7th
Both Dom and Todd put many hours into their swimming and the hard work and commitment from their families has paid off with such wonderful results.
Our house Cross Country was held on Friday 30th April in sterling weather. We had the benefit of running the track at HIRL that will be used for the GD Cross Country on the 10th of May. Despite a small hiccup with some misdirection, the event was very well run and it was great to see our students being active.
On Tuesday 27 April, a group of year 7, 8 and 9 girls travelled to Horsham to represent Baimbridge College at the GWR Volleyball Tournament. Although none of us had much experience with volleyball, we all gave it a crack and had a great time. Although we didn’t win a match, we got better and better and hope to have greater success in the future. We would like to thank the team for participating and giving it a go, Mr. Churchill for organising and coaching us and Jason Shepherd for taking the time out of his day to drive us to Horsham and back.
