Market Day

MARKET DAY!                         

Dear Parents/Guardians/Carers,   

On the 17th of October, the grade 5/6s will be holding a fun market day!

For Discovery, the grade 5/6s have been working on conservation, sustainability, environmental awareness and specifically textile waste. We also looked at some of the big picture issues around global poverty. 

The grade 6s have convened and planned to repurpose and design second-hand t-shirts. The younger grades will be able to choose from a range of designs and sizes at our Market Day stall. All t-shirts will be sold for $6.00 each.

The grade 5s are going to set up their own market stalls full of products they came up with that are also eco-friendly.  They will be selling products like flower pots, plants, goody bags, etc.

 All of the money we raise will be donated to these charities;

Mission in Kenya, Share the dignity, Variety Bash and Diamond Valley Food Share, through our Social Enterprise Program.
