Grade 5/6

5/6 Camp - Grantville Lodge 

Arlia - My favourite things about camp were the challenge swing and getting really muddy. My cabin was also really fun. 

Oscar - I liked canoeing and Thursday dinner. But I didn't like the veggie soup and my shoes were getting muddy. 

Sam - I really loved camp. It was a bit stressful at times but I loved the Challenge swing, canoeing and the people in my cabin! It was a very enjoyable experience and I hope I can go there again! 

Harriet - I had so much fun hanging out and experiencing camp with my friends. I didn't enjoy the amount of mud that was around though.

Cam - Camp was soooo fun. My favourite thing was the Giant Swing. I also enjoyed canoeing and the campfire.

Stella - I had a lot of fun on high ropes, but it was really scary. My favourite activity was the giant swing. Canoeing was also fun, but way too wet.

Christina - It was really fun, I loved the giant swing and the people in my cabin. My favourite thing was getting muddy and then having a shower. My least favourite thing was the high ropes, I was so scared.

Amelia - Camp was super fun. My favourite activity was canoeing. At the end we got to jump, well not jump, but hop into the lake. The funniest part of canoeing was when he said, “be careful of the saltwater crocodile.” (It was a freshwater lake.)

Zayna R - The whole thing was amazing and I loved every step of the way, even the food! I really appreciate how much the teachers did because it would have been stressful. It was AMAZING! I wish I could go back though. :D 

Zack - I enjoyed camp so much. I liked the challenge swing. Getting muddy and all dirty was not great. Overall it was AMAZING! 

Zaiden - I had lots of fun! I really enjoyed all the activities and the 2 night sleepover with my friends. The worst part was when me and Zaina were in a canoe and she fell in, and she dragged me in! It was FREEZING!

Zaina A - I had fun and my favourite part was the canoe when Zaiden made us go in the freezing cold water and he was screaming at me because of how cold the water was. My least favourite part was when we went to soccer so the people who went to soccer missed out on some stuff.

Cindy - It was fun. The best thing was the high ropes and giant swing. Other activities were fun but the mud was annoying. I LOVED THE FOOD, the food’s great. Fell in the lake during canoeing, but luckily I wasn't THAT wet, my hoodie was still somehow dry, it was fun, but very stressful.

Lola - I enjoyed the challenge swing, high ropes course and canoeing the most. The water was so cold in the lake when we went canoeing and the high ropes course was very scary but very fun at the same time. 

Elliott J - At camp I had a lot of fun. I loved the challenge swing and canoeing the most because I overcame fears and I met people I never hang out with. The cabins were good. We had a full bathroom and bunk beds!!!! While canoeing he said there was a saltwater crocodile but it was a freshwater lake! I “saw” its head but it was just a log.

Jenny - My favourite part of camp was the giant swing and the funniest part was when I hid from the cabin group photo, my cabin mates also sneaked snacks at night. It was fun!

Amy -  My favourite part of the camp was canoeing and the giant swing. At night me and my cabin mates were hiding and eating snacks.

Costa - I  liked the giant swing and I thought it was scary at first but I had a try and it wasn't that bad. I enjoyed staying in our cabins and I also loved the food. My favourite dessert was the chocolate mousse!

Matthew - I really enjoyed camp. My favourite part was the giant swing even though I’m scared of heights. I hated canoeing because Christos and I fell into the water. My cabin mates were a bit loud so it was hard to sleep. 

Christos - My favourite activity was canoeing. And my least favourite was high ropes. 

Ali - On camp we did AMAZING activities like the giant swing.

George - I loved camp, the best bit was everything. I liked getting muddy but I didn't like high ropes.

Taliah - I loved camp because of the giant swing and it was amazing. The thing I did NOT like was when Ms. McKay was hitting our canoe and we got tipped over. I also didn't like the big amount of mud.
