                       Return to school

We are looking forward to having our students return to school next week.

 

Important Information for Week 5

 

Next week Monday 25th May we will be returning to school full time and the Remote Learning Program will finish. All teachers will be on their classes delivering the learning program face to face Monday to Friday.

 

Health and hygiene routine at school - Regular washing of hands & the regular use of hand sanitiser will occur at school throughout the day.  Additional daily cleaning of high use surfaces in classrooms / buildings, toilets & playground will take place. Social distancing will be encouraged with students.   

 

If Students become unwell at school they will be sent to the sickbay. Parents will be called to collect students who are unwell.

 

Social distancing for adults - teachers and parents are required  to keep a distance of 1.5m.  We ask that parents wait outside the school grounds at Drop Off & Pick Up time.  The children will be brought to South Street by a teacher at PICK UP TIME each afternoon 3pm.  

 

Parents & visitors please avoid coming into the playground & classrooms. Please come to the School Office & Mrs Pittman will phone the classroom for you.

 

Parents please also be aware of the 1.5m distance when you come into the school office, please use the hand sanitiser available at the counter when you come into the school.  

 

              When Students return to school on Monday they will need to:

 

Wear their full school Winter Uniform – including school tie, black shoes, school hat and school tracksuit on Tuesday & Fridays. Winter uniform is compulsory if for any reason your child is not wearing the correct uniform please send in a note or phone the school.

 

Bring their own food & water bottle, students are not permitted to use the bubblers except for refilling their water bottle.  The Canteen is still closed, we will notify families when the Canteen resumes. 

 

Bring all the equipment supplied for learning at home, books, folders & Chrome books etc on Monday.

 

Year 3 /4 will need their musical instruments & music for their Band lesson on Monday.

 

Kindergarten to Year 6 will need their Library Books & Bag on Tuesday for Library. 

 

Thank you families for your support throughout this pandemic. I am very grateful to the St Patrick's Staff for the work they have done since Week 9 Term 1, with the Remote Learning packages for our students. I am very proud of the achievements the parents & students have made during this very challenging time. Once again thank you for your support and we look forward to having all students & staff back together again. 


Kindergarten 2021

Enrolment packs for 2021 Kindergarten students are available now  from the School Office.  Please contact the school if you would like a package sent home.

We hope to be able to hold our Kindergarten 2021 Open Morning on Tuesday 23rd June.

Our Transition Program will be the last five Fridays in Term 3 and the first five Fridays in Term 4.

Term 2 & 3 Winter Uniform

All children need to wear their school tie, school hat & school track suit for Sport Days. Our Winter uniform is compulsory if for any reason your child is not wearing the correct uniform please send in a note or a phone the school.
