Principal's Message 

Assalamu Alaikum, 

Whether you are an existing family or you have recently joined us I would like to welcome you back to another year of schooling.  I truly hope that this year brings more stability than the last. 

The Taqwa Times Newsletter is published monthly during school terms with the main aim of sharing information and happenings around the school.  Upon opening the first issue you will be given the option of subscribing.  Please ensure you do this so that you automatically receive updates.  You can also choose to read the newsletter in a language other than English if this is your preference. 

Building Updates

We are currently working on landscaping the area behind the new building.  In a couple of weeks we will have a new sandpit, mud kitchen and sensory gardens for the children to enjoy during lessons and on their breaks.  

Class Meetings

Usually at the beginning of each year we are delighted to welcome parents into the classrooms to meet the teachers and hear about our learning plans for the year.  Unfortunately this year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are not able to do so.  Instead we will be holding class meetings online via Google Meet.  You will receive an invitation shortly from your child's class teacher. 

Covid Restrictions

Please remember that you need to book an appointment if you would like to visit the school and use the CBR App to check in.  When dropping your children off or picking them up you should wait for them in the designated parking area.  Children in years 3 to 6 are encouraged to wear masks whilst in the classrooms.  

Rapid Antigen tests will continue to be distributed on Monday afternoons for the next 3 weeks.  Please stay in your car and we will bring them to you.
