Specialists

At St Brigid’s all Foundation students will participate in several specialist subjects.  These take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Tuesday - Physical Education (PE)

Wednesday - Visual Arts & STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

Thursday - Performing Arts and Italian on a fortnightly rotation.

All Foundation students also participate in PMP (Perceptual Motor Program).   PMP is a movement-based program which helps younger students improve their hand/eye and foot/eye coordination, fitness, balance, locomotion and eye-tracking skills. Students will participate in PMP on Fridays.  

Please note: This means that ALL Foundation students need to wear their sports uniforms on TUESDAY (for PE) and Friday (for PMP).

Library Day - All Foundation students will be visiting the Library every Monday. In this time they will be allowed to borrow 1 Library book that they can read at home over the week and change the following week.  Please make sure your child has a library bag on Mondays.

Wednesday 15th February - No School for Foundation students - Individual interviews taking place

Sunday 19th February -  Foundation Level Mass at Braeside Park 10:30am

Monday 20th February - Foundation Students start full time

Tuesday 21st February - Shrove Tuesday

Wednesday 22nd February - Ash Wednesday 

Thursday 23rd February - School Photos - full summer uniform to be worn

Friday 10 March - Whole School Excursion to Healsville Sanctuary

Monday 13th March - Labour Day Public Holiday, Catholic Education Week

Thursday 6 April - Last Day of Term 1

Friday 7th April - Good Friday
