AMEB ONLINE ORCHESTRA   2021

We are so thrilled to be involved in this project -performance of the 2021 AMEB Online Orchestra’s performance of ‘Morning Star and Evening Star’. The final footage was revealed on November 3 at a ceremony on the Gold Coast and can be viewed here.

Performers from all over Australia and beyond played their part and contributed their talent and enthusiasm to AMEB’s biennial community orchestra project.  Well done to our students who participated -James Lao, Claire Xie and Hanumath Prathap.

Written by Candace Kruger, Lann Levinge and Isobella Kruger, ‘Morning Star and Evening Star’ is a song based on a Yugambeh lullaby which was handed down through generations of Aboriginal families in the Yugambeh language region.
