Spelling Professional Learning on Monday 1 November 2021

On Monday 1/11/21, students had a Curriculum Day and teachers had a day of professional learning. Led by Kim Simmons, Literacy Learning Specialist, teachers revisited our spelling Scope and Sequence and had the chance to take part in activities from students and teachers’ perspectives.

Spelling is linked to our Writing goal in our School Strategic Plan 2018-2022, which in turn is then linked to our yearly Annual Implementation Plan targets.

We are very lucky to have a wealth of knowledge, experience and energy at MPW and the professional learning was a chance to re-inspire us as we head back into the classroom full time onsite again.
