We were so close…

After what has been an exciting and rewarding season, we have had the “rug pulled out from underneath us” and our seasons for chess, football and rugby union have come to an abrupt end (Please see the statement below). 

As per the AIC statement, our chess, rugby union, football AND rugby league seasons have been cancelled. Track and Field is still planned to take place in 4 weeks time and we will continue to train hard with these boys throughout the upcoming holiday period.

We all feel gutted by this announcement, and we all collectively share in this disappointment as a college, as coaches, managers, support staff, parents and especially our students. We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to even play sport this term and we are very grateful for the time we were given. It is an unfortunate end, but I hope that all of our students can still look back on the term with some great memories shared with their mates.
