Senior C News Term 1 2022

So far this term we have:

• celebrated the Opening of the School Year with mass
• had fun participating in SWELL Day
• chosen the sports which we will compete in at Interschool Sports
• attended Ash Wednesday Mass
• listened to Fr Charles explain the four parts of the mass
• explored and revised place value and time concepts in Maths
• revised making predictions and recalling facts and details comprehension strategies for reading
• learnt about the structure and language features of a historical recount
• discovered interesting facts about The First Fleet and convicts

We are looking forward to:

• hosting the Senior school mass on Tuesday 8th March
• competing against other schools at Interschool Sports
• listening to more of the book “Wonder”
• completing wonderful art activities with Miss Swinburne
• learning more about Australian History and
• participating in the Holy Week Reenactment later in the term.

MAGAZINES NEEDED

The Juniors are in need of magazines for Art and Maths related activities.  If you have any old ones lying around please feel free to donate them.  Magazines may be given to your child’s classroom teacher.
