See the Good. Be the Change. Make it Happen. 

Our Year 12 students and staff have been working on a motto or catchphrase for 2023 and they have done a wonderful job. 

See the good.

Be the change.

Make it happen.

See the good - There is good all around us and sometimes we need to be reminded we need to look for it and appreciate the good things that are happening. 

Be the change – If you do not like what is happening or how something is working than make a change to improve things, be a leader and be the change.

Make it happen – we all have excuses for why things can or cannot happen but sometimes we just need to make an extra effort to make it happen. 

Each assembly we will recognise a student who displays these behaviours.  We would like to recognise one of our quieter students who goes about things without making a fuss.  Not so long-ago Dylan Hall sported one of the best “mullets” at Rochester Secondary College. But he has sacrificed his locks for a good cause.  Dylan raised over $2500 for Shave for a cure to support cancer research. 

If we can use this motto to inspire us and keep us going this year that would be great – thank you to everyone who contributed.
