Premiers' Reading Challenge

Congratulations to everyone who participated in this terms reading challenge.  Students were treated to a celebration lunch in the Library last month.

House Competitions

Congratulations to Sayers for winning the Yearbook Cover Competition. That wraps up the house competitions for 2022. The winning house of 2022 will be announced at our final school assembly. 

All competitions in term 4 will serve as head start points for 2023. Please view the poster to see what competitions are on offer this term. For more information and details on how to sign up please follow Lyndhurst Secondary College on Instagram.

Finally, please also note that a survey on Lyndhurst’s house names will be conducted this term. All students, staff and families are encouraged to have their say.

Division Athletics

In October, we had a wonderful day at the Athletics, with all students putting in a great effort. Nearly half of our students achieved a 1st , 2nd or 3rd placing, which is fantastic, and we finished 5th overall.

Five students qualified for the Southern Metroplitan Regional Athletics :-

Teeghan Bridle Yr11 - hurdles, javelin, triple jump (with a PB), discus (also with a PB)

Ella Cunningham Yr9 - long jump (beating the record by 8cm), 1500m walk

Adam Sedovs Yr8 - hurdles

Edward Denness - javelin

Harish Rajeshkumar - 400m

Please congratulate these students on their achievement.
