Get your gardening gloves on for Gardening Club!

The Sandy College gardening club will be re-starting on Friday 12 August from 10am to 1pm. Come along to the school and get stuck into some worthwhile maintenance/creative projects with myself and a few others. No green fingers or expertise required - just a pair of gardening gloves and a sense of humour! Please text Adam Meda if you're interested on 0448 486 699.

Help us make the School Musical amazing!

It's school musical time again, and after two years without a musical, we're all super excited about this year's performance, The Addams Family.

Each Sunday we'll be holding a drop in working bee at the school theatre to get the many tasks completed for the show. We're hoping you would be willing to donate anything from 1hr one Sunday to a couple of hours each Sunday. Whatever time you can volunteer we'll be so thankful for! Simply drop into the Theatre and ask for Laura Washington or Harry Brammall.

We're looking for help with:

- sewing costumes

- helping make props

- helping to build sets

- painting sets

- sourcing items

Drop in to provide some support on these dates:

The Addams Family performance dates are Sat 27 Aug - Sat 3 Sept. Tickets will be on sale soon.

Thank you to all who volunteered at the cancelled Bunnings Mentone Sausage Sizzle

Thank you to everyone who volunteered for the Bunnings Mentone Sausage Sizzle. Bunnings had to cancel it on the day due to the predicted bad weather potentially causing an unsafe environment. They have given us a $500 Bunnings voucher to help cover the expenses. And thanks to Amy Porter we were able to freeze the 750 sausages and 38 loaves of bread in the school's Food Tech freezer. We have been placed back in the ballot and hopefully can find another date to run this again in the near future.

Donate your old uniform to the Second Hand Uniform Shop

We’re in need of new stock for the Second Hand Uniform Shop, so please donate your unwanted uniform in the donation bins located in reception at both campuses during school hours.

All funds raised go back to the school via the many PTF projects. Run by our wonderful volunteers, the second hand uniform shop is open every Thursday 8.15am-9.15am during school terms, and is located at the Bluff Rd campus.
