Swimming Trials

A great start to Interschool Sport with 61 Gr 4/5 & 6 students heading to Queens Park pool for swimming trials.  Well done to everyone who competed and good luck to those students who were selected for the MPW Swimming Team who will now compete at District Swimming Carnival on Friday 1st March.  A big thank you to all the parents and carers who came and supported on the day, it was great to have so much help!!

Summer Sport

This Friday morning we begin Gr 5/6 Summer Sport season.  All Gr 5/6 students will play Soccer, Handball and Hot Shots Tennis. 

This week MPW Blue are playing at home against North Melbourne (Handball & Tennis at school, soccer at Maribyrnong Park) and MPW Gold are away against Avondale (Handball & Tennis at Avondale Primary School, soccer at Doyle Reserve, Avondale Heights)

For students who aren’t playing, special coaches from Athletics Australia are coming to help us refine our running, jumping and throwing techniques.

Families are welcome to come and support.  Good luck to all teams!
