Exploring Our Community: A Wonderful Walk Around Park Orchards

What a fantastic day it was for our Foundation students to explore the local community of Park Orchards!

Today, our energetic Foundation students, along with fabulous parent helpers and dedicated classroom teachers, took a lively walk around the neighbourhood as part of their geography unit. 

During the walk, the students observed and discussed important buildings and landmarks in Park Orchards, helping them understand the community they live in.

The children were excited to spot places like the local kindergartens, shops, and other significant spots that make our suburb special. This hands-on learning experience not only supported their classroom studies but also encouraged curiosity and a sense of belonging within their local environment.
