Hollows House News

Welcome back to all the families in Hollows House! As we start Term 2, we want to extend a warm welcome to all our returning students and a special welcome to all our new students who have joined us this term. We hope that your break was restful and enjoyable, and that you're ready to dive back into learning.

We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students and staff in Term 1. Last term, we saw great successes in academics, sports, and the arts. Our students have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to their studies, and we are proud of their achievements. We also had many students represent our school in various competitions, and we congratulate them on their hard work and determination.

As we look ahead to Term 2, we have many exciting events and opportunities planned for our students. We will kick off the term with our whole school athletics day, where students will have the chance to showcase their sporting abilities and compete in a range of events. We are looking forward to seeing our students demonstrate their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, wearing blue with pride.

Our Year 7 students are also in for an exciting adventure, as they head off to Lady Northcote for their annual camp. This is always a highlight of the year, and we know that our students will come back with many stories and memories to share.

Careers week is also fast approaching, where our students will have the opportunity to explore different career paths, meet professionals in various industries, and gain valuable insights into their future career options.

In addition, our Year 5 taster days will be taking place this term, where we will welcome students from our feeder primary schools to Hampton Park Secondary College for a day of learning and fun. We hope that this will be a valuable experience for our younger students, and we look forward to seeing them on our campus.

Finally, we have senior course counselling and mid-year exams coming up, which will be crucial for our Year 12 students as they prepare for their final exams later in the year. We wish them all the best in their studies and encourage them to make the most of the resources and support available to them.

As always, we encourage our students to get involved in the many extracurricular activities and clubs available at our school. We believe that these activities are an essential part of a well-rounded education and offer our students a chance to develop new skills and interests, meet new people, and have fun.

We wish all our students a successful and enjoyable Term 2, and we look forward to seeing them achieve great things in the months to come.
