Year 7

Phillip Island Camp

A fantastic time was had on Year 7 Camp, with 154 students and 16 staff enjoying great weather, food and activities at the CYC Camp at Phillip Island.    Students were highly engaged with the range of activities available at the camp; swimming in the pool, flying fox, giant swing, bike riding, archery, the circatron and low ropes course, just to name a few.    They also thoroughly enjoyed the penguin visit, mini golf and special appearance from the Peer Support crew. We had a trivia night, watched the first footy game of the season and enjoyed free time around the piano and pool table.

Thank you to all parents for their invaluable support of the students in their enjoyment of the camp. Such opportunities really enrich students' experiences and social interactions. We could not be more proud of how students conducted themselves over the course of the camp and since returning to school, forging new connections and continuing to support each other in their learning.

Finally, a massive thank you to all the teachers and support staff who made the camp possible. Giving of their time and energies made for a really fun time for the students and for that we are incredibly appreciative.

Looking forward to a productive Term 2!
