What can we improve on this week:

                     Actions

  • SRC reps to model what a workable noise level is
Things happening in the yard

  • Identify the teachers on the yard
  • Referee for soccer?

Tackling in soccer

  • No tackling should be happening in Soccer
  • Alert the teacher on yard duty if this is happening
  • Remember that the younger students are watching

Rubbish in the yard

  • More bins and posters about cleaning up the yard
  • Reminder about eating only in the quiet area
  • Caught being good for people being seen picking up rubbish?

 Suggestions:

  • More new books for the library? Especially in the 1000+ for Lexiles
  • More bins out in the yard
  • Maybe we could sell hot chocolate or milo
  • Popcorn for winter? Could we buy a popcorn machine and sell it on Tuesdays?

Caught being good:

Each week students from Prep to Year 6 are nominated by the school student  leaders,

the SRC and staff for demonstrating many positive behaviours that help to make our

school such a wonderful place to learn and play.

Students “catch” other students that are welcoming, kind, inclusive,  responsible, respectful  and keeping safe in our learning and play environments and many, many more examples that promote connection, pride and resilience of all.

We also follow the statements for our Positive Behaviours for Learning at Trinity and consistently promote our school values of Community, Excellence and Respect.

Nomination slips can be put in the nomination box at the front of the office by Thursday lunchtime.

Certificates will be presented by the school leaders to students at Friday afternoon assembly.

Congratulations to all the students who will be “Caught Being Good!” this year!
