Assistant Principal

Year 9 & 10

Ms. Julie Ryan

We’ve had a wonderful start to term 2 with students back after the holiday period and settled back into their lessons and school activities.

We have an exciting event coming up this week on the 11th of May where Year 10 and 11 students will be involved in a careers expo at the college. There are a range of presenters who will be at the college to help students explore potential employment and university pathways.

Now that the afterschool homework program (ASH) has resumed for the term, I encourage students to take advantage of the expert help to complete their homework or get advice from our experienced mentors and volunteer teachers. This is a great resource students can access to support their learning. Permission slips are available at the general office.

The majority of students are wearing their uniform with pride. We will be conducting uniform checks in the coming weeks to make sure that students have the appropriate uniform for the change in the weather. We will also be working with students to ensure that they are following the uniform policy correctly which means that there are to be no facial piercings and no non uniform items like hoodies. You can find our uniform policy here https://www.lalorsc.vic.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Uniform-Policy.2022-2024-1.pdf
