Foundation students have learnt about how to count and write in Chinese from 0 to 10 through handcrafts, storytelling, singing and dancing. These activities provided a fun and interactive way to learn the basics of Mandarin and get them comfortable with speaking and counting in the language. 

 

Year 1/2 students have practiced counting, writing and speaking the numbers from 0 to 100 through various fun activities such as online games and hands-on experiences. 

 

Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 students have learnt how to say and write the date and time in Chinese. This is an important aspect of the language and it helps students to communicate more effectively in Mandarin. Students engaged in various activities, such as role plays, handcrafts, storytelling and online games to make learning fun and interactive. Another highlight of this term was the celebration of Chinese New Year.  Student learnt about the customs and traditions of this special event and created our own handcrafts to decorate the learning space.
