WHAT IS THE  NCCD?

The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) takes place every year.

The NCCD is a collection that counts:

 • the number of school students receiving an adjustment or ‘help’ due to disability

 • the level of adjustment they are receiving to access education on the same basis as other students.

Stage 3 eSafety

On Wednesday Stage 3 took part in an eSafety webinar presented by the eSafety commission in conjunction with National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence. The focus of this online webinar was to explore how student’s online actions and words can make the world a better place for everyone. We worked together through a number of different scenarios and questions, by the end of the session the students were able to

• identify the benefits of participating in group activities – offline and online

• discuss how our actions can make the online world a better place for everyone

• understand how to deal with cyberbullying issues

We have encouraged the students to bring their worksheets home and start a discussion around the dinner table. In class we will follow this up with a Stage 3 eSafety pledge.
