BUILD A BRIDGE – ENGINEERING CAMP
Applications are now being taken for this highly successful 3 day camp for students interested in Civil Engineering. This camp is aimed at Year 10 and 11 students. The “Build a Bridge & get over it!” Engineering Camp is an ideal opportunity for students to experience the real world of Civil Engineering with experiential learning and working with industry mentors from REROC, IPWEA (NSW Division), NSW Roads and Maritime Services. For this camp, students must display an aptitude in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Design and Technology. This camp is run by industry experts and it gives participants an opportunity to participate in ‘hands on’ activities. I would strongly encourage any student interested in Civil Engineering to attend this camp.
All applications must be returned to school by Friday 16 June 2017. Selection for this camp will be by a competitive application process. Numbers are limited, so students are encouraged to get applications in as early as possible.
Application forms are available at the careers office.
