WINTER APPEAL

This year's Vinnies Winter Appeal is a little different from previous years. The focus is on fundraising curtains to help the the local refugees from the Kooringal Chapter of Vinnies. At present some refugees in Wagga are living in fishbowls, with no curtains on their windows. This presents many challenges for them: privacy, heat escaping etc.

How can you help?

Purchase new curtains

Donate money that will go towards new curtains

Donate used curtains in good condition

Donations can brought into the front office by Friday 23 June 2017 (Week 9).

YEAR 8 CAMP

Year 8 Camp is fast approaching and occurs on the last three days of term in Harrietville, Victoria. Students have the opportunity to: expand the sense of community; deepen knowledge of self; explore their relationship with God; deepen their awareness of gratitude; and use the natural environment as a stimulus for creativity. Please be reminded that permission notes are to be returned to the office by this Thursday 1 June 2017. We are equal partners in the creation of the community of church

of the future. We need the mainstream church to listen - not to

impose; to learn - not to dictate. Open your hearts and minds to

what Indigenous Peoples offer and then we can walk together to

live the life that Christ has called each and every one of us too.

Creator God, God of love.

To reach out to our Indigenous brothers and sisters,

With the same kindness, love and acceptance
