Digital Technology @ Staughton
At Staughton College, we are aiming to push further into the 21st century and make the most of technologies that can assist students in today’s digital world. Below are just a few of the school wide initiatives we are using to support our students:
Google Classroom
Each class across the school has a digital twin via Google Classroom. Here teachers post learning resources for students to access both in and out of class. Google Classroom is also used to complete learning interactions and submit assignments.
Xuno
As part of our commitment to high-level school-home partnerships, Staughton College uses XUNO to communicate to students and their families. Xuno can be used to:
- View Attendance
- Approve Absences
- Contact Teachers and Coordinators
- Approve and Pay for Events
- View News and Notifications
- View Academic Reports
- Book Parent Teacher Student Conferences
BYOD
At Staughton College we endeavour to provide students with access to the latest in eLearning technologies. We have a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program to allow all students to work with devices that best utilise their own learning preferences. We strongly encourage students to bring their devices, charged, to school and to class each day.
