YEAR 7 BUNSEN BURNER LICENSE

When starting Year 7 Science, our students are taught the importance of safety when operating within the science classroom.

One part of this is acquiring their Bunsen Burner license. Throughout their education at Brighton Secondary College, particularly within the science based subjects, students will receive ongoing training regarding safety and the proper processes and procedures when interacting with equipment and different types of liquids/chemicals etc.

I’m so glad I have science a subject, there is a lot of talking about safety, but is does pay off, not having your HAIR BURNT OFF BY THE BLUE, INVISIBLE, 1500 DEGREES FLAME!!!! So yeah, I love science.
