PRINCIPAL REPORT

From the College Principal

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,

Parents and Friends Association (PFA)

The PFA is a critical and highly valued part of our College community. This group of committed volunteers organise fundraising activities and provide a forum for parents to connect with and assist in making the College a better place.

Last year, the College was able to purchase over $40,000.00 of additional equipment from funds raised by the PFA. These are the “nice to have, rather than “need to have items” which allows us to provide our students with a richer experience at school.

Through their tireless efforts, the PFA was able to support all the subject faculties with $2000.00 grants to purchase additional equipment to support students. These items included display cupboards, maps. beam balances, electronic sign, and contribution towards a new dishwasher for the Food Technology room.

The PFA deserve our warm thanks, but I urge you to lend them your support.   Parents and friends of the school can become involved by joining the PFA as well as making a financial contribution to it.

The term of the current PFA executive has finished, and I particularly encourage any of you, who might be interested in serving as President or Treasurer, to join the PFA and nominate for one of these roles.

A morning PFA meet and greet is in planning, so please keep an eye out on your Compass feed for the date.

Yours sincerely,

Richard Minack

Principal
