Know Yourself, Show Yourself, Grow Yourself Mental Health Festival Community Block Party

We will finish off our mental health festival with an amazing Community Block Party on Friday 25th March. As it is Harmony Week, our amazing students will take to the stage and perform for the whole community for our Harmony Day celebrations. On the main stage, you'll find our legendary MC - Greg Perkins from Big Childcare - bringing the hype.

Don't forget to follow us on socials @knowshowgrowfestival for all the good vibes leading up to the festival.

Dynamic Young Citizens Program

This week, four of our young Grade 6 leaders had the great privelege of participating in the first session of Brimbank City Council's 'Dynamic Young Citizens Program' - a Brimbank Youth Services initiative. As part of their involvement in the program, they get to learn about the role of Council and how they can have an impact in their community.  On Wednesday, they spent the day at Council Buildings - meeting the Mayor and Counsillors. They will take their learnings and transform them into an impactful project at school.

Young Broadcasters of Sunshine Heights PS

Meet the young broadcasters of Sunshine Heights. They'll be working with Ralph Barba over the next few weeks to capture stories in our community that promote belonging, inclusion, mental health and wellbeing, and which share everything that we love about our school and community as part of the mental health festival, where they will broadcast from!

Do you have a story of impact to share? Or know a local celebrity who is making a difference?

Our young broadcasters would love to hear from you. Reach out to Francine - Francine.Sculli@education.vic.gov.au to share your story or connections!
